SG Barleywine and about 2.5 gallons spewed out in the middle of the night.. (Now I know what that "thump" was!) The airlock was shattered. Not all pieces have been found.
The person responsible for the recipe, Brian (second from right), was nowhere to
be found on the morning after the blast. We still call him Carboy. By the way, Red (on the left) is one of the original brewers.
